Nuneaton Town moved six points clear at the top of the Blue Square Bet North with a 2-1 win at Stafford Rangers.
Boro took the lead in the fourth minute thanks to Simon Forsdick before Justin Marsden doubled their advantage shortly after the break.
Tom Moss grabbed a late consolation goal for the home side who remain second from bottom.
Kevin Wilkin's side go to Hyde United on Monday looking to avenge last month's 2-1 defeat at Liberty Way.
