Father-of-four Armand Meguer, from Kenilworth, was working on the roof of a building in Bromley, Greater London, when the incident happened.

The Metropolitan Police and the Health and Safety Executive have launched a joint investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Local press say his body was found on a nearby car park on January 18.

Mr Meguer, 54, of Borrowell Lane, Kenilworth, was working for Orange and Nokia Siemens at the time.

His devastated eldest daughter Olivia Meguer, 20, described her dad as “the last of the eccentrics”.

“He was the best dad in the world. You couldn’t find a more charismatic or exciting man. He was the sort of man you would meet once and never forget,” she said.

“He loved life, lived it to the full. Everything he did was for his family.
