A fast-food restaurant in Nuneaton town centre has escaped being closed down, following a series of trouble-related incidents.
Members of the borough council licensing sub committee were told that police had made a number of call-outs to Dixy Chicken in Church Street over a period of time.
Issues had arisen about problems at the premises, most of which took place late at night or in the early hours of the morning.
But the committee heard that the licence had recently changed hands and it was decided to give the new licensee a chance to take steps to prevent further problems, with amendments and conditions being imposed.
The restaurant will be allowed to open until 2am, althought no food can be served after 1.30am and public access must be controlled 30 minutes before closing time.
The committee also ruled that CCTV must be installed, maintained and operated at the premises and give clear coverage of all customer areas, including the entrance and exit doors.
