Toddler critical after Ansley Village crash

A toddler was seriously hurt in a collision with a car in Ansley Village, near Nuneaton.

The 22-month-old boy suffered head and pelvic injuries.

He was taken to University Hospital, Coventry, and later transferred to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, where his condition was described as “critical but stable.”

The accident was in St Lawrence Road at 6.10pm on Monday. The driver of the car, a green VW Passat, was not injured.
