Bus services axed in new timetable for Nuneaton

Stagecoach says that the new routes will begin on Saturday, February 22



Bus bosses have revealed what services are being lost and which ones have been spared the axe when a new Nuneaton timetable goes live.

Routes 1 & 2

There are no changes to Mondays to Fridays.

On Saturday afternoons, the following trips will change:

• The 1810 Weddington to Red Deeps will finish at Nuneaton bus station.
  
• The 1825 Red Deeps to Weddington will finish at Nuneaton bus station.
  
• The 0658, 1841 & 1853 from Weddington will no longer run.

Route 4

There are no changes to Mondays to Fridays.

On Saturday afternoons, there are a few trips which will no longer run

• The 1820 Nuneaton to Whitestone.
  
• The 1831 Whitestone to Nuneaton.

Route 9

There are new trips on Monday to Friday mornings.

• There will be departures at 0657 and 0720 from Nuneaton bus station towards Stockingford
  0712 and 0735 from Stockingford back to Nuneaton bus station

Route 48

• The 2011 (Monday to Friday)/2023(Saturdays) Nuneaton to Hinckley journey to Earl Shilton has been extendend with a later trip from Earl Shilton at 2104 (Monday to Friday)/2117 (Saturdays) via Hinckley back to Nuneaton.

Route 55

On Monday to Fridays the following trips will no longer run

• The 2004 Nuneaton to Coventry.
  
• The 2105 Coventry to Nuneaton.

Routes 766 & 767

The following trips will no longer run:

• The 0423 Tamworth to Birch Coppice on Mondays to Saturdays.
  
• The 0315 Birch Coppice to Tamworth on Mondays to Fridays.
  
• The 0402 Birch Coppice to Tamworth on Mondays to Fridays and Sundays.
  
• The 0338 from Tamworth on Sundays will now leave at 0333 and run 5 minutes earlier.
  
• The 1843 Atherstone to Birch Coppice and 1758 Tamworth to Nuneaton journeys will no longer serve Baddesley Ensor on Mondays to Saturdays.
