Man charged over fatal Coventry stabbing in Stoke area

A 26-year-old man from Coventry has been charged with murder after a man was stabbed in the city.

A 35-year-old man was found with two stab wounds at an address in Coventry Street in the Stoke area of the city at about midnight on Friday.

He died shortly after in hospital but West Midlands Police have not yet released details of his identity.

The 26-year-old is due to appear before Coventry magistrates later and two women have also been arrested.

A 21-year-old woman accused of assisting an offender has been bailed and the second woman has been released without charge.
