New images have been revealed as police step up their desperate hunt to find a woman who went missing from Nuneaton's hospital mid-way through treatment.

Despite following up several lines of enquiry, detectives say that the woman remains missing.

Which is why they have now released new images of her in a bid to try to not only find her but identify her.

She attended the George Eliot Hospital Accident and Emergency department at 10.50pm on Sunday (December 30).

But she left at 6.10am on New Year's Eve (Monday, December 31) before her treatment was completed and has not been seen since.

She also gave false details at the A&E department, which has made the hunt for her difficult.

DC Kim Stafford from Nuneaton CID said: "I'd like to thank everyone who has shared our appeal and provided information.

"We've been following several lines of enquiry but unfortunately we have still not identified her.

"We've released these new images in the hope that someone can help us to identify her."

The woman has been described as being white, 5ft 2ins tall, with long black hair. She was wearing black trousers, a dark hat, a black coat, a red top and black boots.

Anyone with information that could help enquiries should call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident 43 of December 31.
