Warwick Fire Station, manned by retained firefighters, is one of seven under consideration for closure.

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue has said the closure plans are needed to cope with modern demands.

A public consultation over the plans finishes on Tuesday. Bidford, Brinklow, Kenilworth, Studley, Fenny Compton and Bedworth stations could also close.

The march begins at Warwick Racecourse with then protestors going to Shire Hall for speeches.

Stick to your engines folks, with you all the way.

And as for the clown who says we have to keep with the modern demands, ?a fire is a fire whichever way you want to say it, and the modern demands are to keep these fantastic people in there jobs, instead of some prick going by figures to keep themselves in a job :fuming:
