The men - from Coventry and Bedworth - were arrested on November 6

Two men were arrested after armed police were spotted in a Coventry street.

People reported seeing officers with guns, while the police helicopter flew overhead, during an incident in and around Heath Road, Stoke, on Tuesday, November 6.

CoventryLive asked West Midlands Police for information on that day and the force today stated that two arrests were made.

This led to charges being brought against Kyle Puffett, from Newtown Road, Bedworth.

The 26-year-old was charged with affray, dangerous driving, driving without insurance, driving without a licence, failing to stop after a collision and use of threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear.

He was due to appear at Warwick Crown Court on November 8.

The other arrested man - Harrison Bagley, 18, of Hawker Close, Stoke Aldermoor - was set to appear at Coventry Magistrates' Court on November 8 for failing to appear in court on October 16 and breaching of a court order.
