Yobs spotted hurling fireworks out of car in Nuneaton

Yobs were spotted trawling estates across Nuneaton hurling FIREWORKS at cars at the weekend.

They were in a silver coloured car, believed to be an Astra or Golf, in the Whittleford and Weddington areas of town.

Calls were made to police on Saturday night to reports that suspects in a silver Astra or Golf car lit a large amount of fireworks and threw them in Mallard Avenue.

Damage was caused to a car.

A similar looking vehicle was spotted in the Weddington area later in the evening, with reports of fireworks being thrown.

No arrests have been made and police are keen to hear from anyone who has any information about the culprits.
