The incident took place at a student accommodation block in the city centre
A number of workmen have been removed from a student accommodation block in Coventry City Centre - after an incident which allegedly saw a passer-by verbally abused.
The incident is believed to have taken place yesterday morning (September 10), when three workers at the Godiva Place student accommodation on Lower Ford Street were accused of mocking a "young disabled lad", who walked past the site.
The accusation was posted anonymously on The Cov Bible's Facebook page.
A witness to the incident lodged a complaint at the site office - which is run by construction company Galliford Try.
Three hours later, the men were still seen to be working on the site - though Galliford Try have since confirmed that action has been taken against them, even though they are sub-contractors rather than employees.

Paragraph one tells us that. The men have been removed. Paragraph five says that. The men were still working there.
Telegraph accurate as normal.
