Simon Cowell defends Duchess of York...

Simon Cowell has shown his support to the Duchess of York following her recent cash sting scandal.

Sarah Ferguson has already apologised after footage of her offering access to her ex-husband Prince Andrew in exchange for £500,000 had been released.

Orange quotes Cowell as saying: "To be fair to her, she's a trooper. You know, she didn't have to be here tonight [at this charity gala for children].

"She's very passionate about this kids charity work she does and not many people would have [turned up like] she did - but she did."
