He was run over outside the Wyken Working Men's Club at 4.15pm on May 19th
A man is fighting for his life in hospital after he was hit by a car in Coventry.
The incident happened outside Wyken Working Men's Club Ansty Road at around 4.15pm on Saturday, May 19.
Off-duty nurses gave first aid before paramedics and the air ambulance arrived.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said the man had suffered a head injury and was given trauma care at the scene.
He was then taken to Coventry's University Hospital where he remained in a critical condition on Monday morning.

That can be a very nasty piece of road. I hope the victim recovers and speedily.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.
