A woman has been stabbed in the chest outside a Coventry club over the weekend.
Police and ambulance crews were called to Hertford Place in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The woman, a 20-year-old, was taken to hospital.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to reports of a woman suffering a stab wound to the chest in Hertford Place, Coventry, at around 5am on Sunday (15 April).
"A 20-year-old woman was taken to hospital with an injury which is not believed to be life-threatening.
"Anyone with information can call police on 101; quoting 20CV/82956A/18."
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed the woman was fully conscious and breathing despite the stabbing.
They said: "An ambulance and a paramedic officer were called to outside a club on Hertford Place, Coventry, at 5.15am on Sunday morning.
"Crews treated a woman in her 20s who was fully conscious and breathing but had sustained a relatively minor wound.
"She was given treatment on scene before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further assessment treatment."
