Largest used car showroom in Europe is coming to Coventry

It will be located on the site of the Leekes furniture store



The former site of the Leekes store in Coventry is set to be transformed into the biggest used car showroom in Europe.

Trade Centre UK is currently developing the site of the former furniture giant alongside the A444 on the Amphion Business Park and is already looking to hire.

More than 140 jobs are set to be created when Trade Centre UK opens its doors later this spring - with vacancies including sales, finance and administration roles.

Automotive experience is not required, with the company looking to hire “local, enthusiastic individuals with a flair for dealing with people”.

They have also pledged to engage in community projects and have asked grassroots sports teams from the Coventry area to get in touch.

Originally a Welsh company, Trade Centre Wales had three showrooms in Wales before taking the decision to branch out into the UK last year, opening the first Trade Centre UK in Wednesbury, in April 2017.

This will be their fifth showroom.

I did security at that building when it was being built. After a triple nine call, Warwickshire Police attended. So, i'd say it's in Bedworth and not Coventry!

Yes 10A it is in Bedworth,but only by a few yards. Think the old Courtaulds in Old Church Rd is now another car sales site and that only a bit down the road from The Amphion site.

Yeah, that site on Old Church Road is again a car sales place. The last one didn't last long. Mind you, you didn't have to pay there, several cars got driven out of the gates! lol.
