A woman has been jailed for setting light to her former council house in Coventry
Samantha Capewell went to her former flat in Devon House, on Bantock Road, on 3 March and started a fire in the communal entrance, police said.
The 48-year-old was jailed for four years at Warwick Crown Court on 20 October after admitting starting the blaze.
Capewell was found nearby after the fire with five cigarette lighters, police said, adding that she later pleaded guilty after CCTV emerged of her starting the blaze.
Nobody was injured in the fire.
"Ms Capewell has a fixation with starting fires… she has been given many opportunities to address the issue and offered support but she has continued to offend. She has been linked to several arsons in and around her former home address.
"We will continue to work with Ms Capewell and the fire service in the hope of getting her some help." PC Greg AshfieldWest Midlands Police CID
