Disruption after water main bursts in Coventry

Homes in Coventry have been without water after a main burst.

The problem was found during the early hours in a parking bay in Barker Butts Lane, Coundon.

A spokeswoman for Severn Trent Water said they had received more than 80 calls from people without water as a result.

She said water had been flowing down the road but it was not shut to traffic. Engineers are at the scene to make repairs.
