A DEN of dirty, used needles was discovered by officers when they raided a flat in Nuneaton.

Police forced their way into the property in Meadow Court after concerns were raised about suspicious behaviour.

The address, which has not been disclosed, had previously been reported for suspected drugs use.

While no drugs were found, scattered dirty needles and other drug taking paraphernalia was found inside.

Officers have asked Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council to board up the local authority-owned property.
