A goose in flight has been shot by someone with a pellet gun.
The injured bird ended up in a garden in Shakespeare Avenue in Warwick.
The householder put the bird in a summerhouse thinking she had a broken wing and called the RSPCA.
When an officer arrived, he realised the bird had been shot during flight and had fallen to the ground.
The bird's now being treated at a specialist wildlife centre.
The RSPCA says it's an offence to intentionally injure or kill a wild bird and wants anyone with information to come forward.
