Warwickshire Police say a 20-year-old man has been arrested



Police have shared an image showing the shocking end to a car chase in Warwickshire.

Police arrested a 20-year-old man this morning following a lengthy pursuit around Rugby which ended in a crash.

The image, shared by Warwickshire Police Operational Patrol Unit on Twitter, shows an upside down black vehicle with extensive damage to the front end.

A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said: “A 20-year-old man from Rugby has been arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle dangerously.

“This followed a police pursuit when the vehicle failed to stop for officers at around 9.40am on Bilton Road, Rugby.

“The man has been bailed until October 11.”
