Connor Granaghan, 23, of Stoke Aldermoor, was sentenced recently at Coventry Magistrates' Court
A man who threatened to burn a house down in Coventry has been given a community order by the courts.
Connor Granaghan, of The Coppice, Stoke Aldermoor , was found guilty of making the threats to his victim, as well as saying he would smash windows at the property on May 5 this year.
He had denied the charge at Coventry Magistrates’ Court, but had admitted wilfully obstructing a police officer in the execution of their duty.
The 23-year-old was sentenced at the magistrates’ court and handed a community order including a rehabilitation activity requirement and 100 hours' unpaid work, as well as a restraining order.
Granaghan was also ordered to pay £200 court costs and a £85 victim surcharge.
In my experience people don't take much notice of restraining orders.
