Gridlock reported by drivers trying to leave the city via the A46Lengthy delays have been reported by drivers trying to escape the city during the early-evening rush hour.
Gridlock has been seen on the A46 southbound between the A45 Festival Island and the B4115 for Stoneleigh.
But the reason? It appears litter pickers have closed down two of three lanes of traffic. As you can guess, motorists were less then impressed.
One told the Telegraph: "There were queues back to London Road - people were driving into the entrance of the Jaguar plant to avoid the traffic.
"Other routes out of the city are equally as bad with Leamington Road backed up to the War Memorial."
