Paramedics treated a woman in her 20s at the scene at Spon Gate House
Police were called to a block of flats in Coventry to reports of a woman who had fallen from a balcony.
The drama at the ten-storey Spon Gate House, in Upper Spon Street, began at around 9.40am and officers quickly taped off the scene.
Ambulance crews were requested and paramedics arrived to treat a woman in her 20s at the scene, before she was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
