Police investigate stabbing in Primrose Hill Park

West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the scene after a man in his 30s was stabbed in the arm



Police are investigating a stabbing which took place in Primrose Hill Park in the Hillfields area of Coventr y in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The police were alerted shortly after 4am by West Midlands Ambulance Service who had been called to the scene.

A man in his 30s had been stabbed in the arm and was taken to hospital.

The area was later cordoned off as police investigations into the incident continued.

A West Midlands Police spokeswoman said: “We received reports of a man in his 30s who had received arm injuries.

“It looked like he had been stabbed in the arm.

“His injuries were not life-threatening and he was taken to hospital.

“Enquiries are ongoing but at this stage no one has been arrested.”
