Coventry pedestrian suffers minor injuries in collision with car

Paramedics said the victim suffered minor injuries in the incident in Canley

A pedestrian has been hit by a car in Coventry.

The incident happened in Charter Avenue, near Mitchell Avenue, in Canley, earlier today.

Emergency services, including two ambulances and two police cars, were called to the scene.

Paramedics said the pedestrian suffered “minor injuries”.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called out to an incident of a car versus a pedestrian this morning.

“According to the crews at the scene a pedestrian has suffered minor injuries and it looks like a relatively minor incident.

“The incident happened at quite a low speed.”

No other details have been released.
