Masked robbers attack woman in Bulkington and steal her car

Two men in balaclavas stole a woman’s car keys and nicked her vehicle seconds after she pulled into her driveway.

The attack happened in Coventry Road, Bulkington, at 5.30pm yesterday (Tues).

The 52-year-old victim pulled into her driveway and was confronted by two men who threatened her and demanded the keys to her black BMW 1 series.

She was assaulted by one of the men who forced her to hand over her keys and open the gate.

The pair then drove off in her car.

The offenders, who had their faces hidden with black balaclavas, were both described as being of medium build with English accents.

Both were wearing dark clothes and gloves.

Police have launched an investigation into the attack and they are urging anyone who was in the Coventry Road area at the time, or anyone with information, to get in touch with them as soon as possible.
