Armed police swooped on a Coventry social club after a man walked in brandishing a gun.
Police were called to Folly Lane Private Members Club in London Road, Whitley, just before 3.30pm yesterday.
It’s been rumoured that a shirtless man walked in to the bar and asked for a pint before police were called.
They arrived within minutes and three officers led the Coventry man away.
He was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm in a public place.
No shots were fired and the man remains in police custody this morning.
