A late game-winning goal by Adam Henrich handed Blaze victory at home to Cardiff Devils and looks to have all but cemented Blaze's play-off position with three games to go.
Man-of-the-match Henrich scored two goals to take his tally to 12 in just 11 appearances as Blaze overcame their rivals 4-3 in an entertaining encounter at the Skydome.
Tyson Marsh put Devils in front on nine minutes before Henrich made it 1-1.
Dustin Cameron then registered his 23rd goal of the season and captain Shea Guthrie made it 3-1 with a delayed penalty goal.
Two markers inside 21 seconds from player-coach Gerad Adams and Max Birbraer sae the visitors tie the game up at 3-3.
But Henrich won it for Blaze before both sides called a late time-out, with the home side closing out the game in the final minutes.
Head coach Paul Thompson was delighted with the win.
He said: “We have been playing well of late and we want to put a run of wins together.
“We have everyone available and fighting for ice time and responsibility as we head into the play-offs.
“There is a good positive buzz around the place and we want that to continue.”
