Following the winter break, Coventry City Council will restart its garden waste collections next week (collections run from Tuesday to Friday so the first collection is Tuesday 5 March).
Residents are asked to refer to their calendar for details of when their first brown lidded bin collection of the year is due.
Cllr Lindsley Harvard, Cabinet Member for City Services, said: "It's difficult to call when the season's start and finish these days, but I shall be out mowing the lawn and tidying up the garden this weekend to fill up my bin."
