Flooding has caused the cancellation of a traditional charity event in Warwickshire.
Last year's eventKenilworth Lions Club was expecting 1,500 people to attend its Boxing Day duck race, held on the Abbey Fields.
Gordon Henderson, from the Lions, said Finham Brook is "far too dangerous" and the event has been postponed until
New Year's Day.
The Environment Agency has issued a number of flood warnings for rivers in Warwickshire.
Mr Henderson said: "A couple of days ago the water was actually coming over the road and into the park - it's subsided a bit but it's still far too dangerous."
The agency said flooding is likely on the River Avon at Weston on Avon and Welford on Avon, and the River Leam at Leamington and at Eathorpe, Huningham and Offchurch.
