Some of Warwickshire’s archaeological sites will be laid bare at an event on Saturday July 14.Our Past Uncovered is taking place at Shire Hall, Warwick, and will feature talks and displays about local history and archaeology.
It has been organised by the council’s Heritage and Culture Service to celebrated the Festival of British Archaeology from July 14-29.
It will include talks on two of Warwickshire’s deserted villages, Compton Scorpion and Weston juxta Cherington, south of Shipston-on-Stour.
The event will run from 10am-3.30pm.
