A 17-year old’s up on drugs charges after 400 suspected cannabis plants were found at a place in Nuneaton.
Police got a warrant to search the address on Caldwell Road early last Friday but have only just told us about it.
As well as seizing the plants they also found equipment used to grow them.
The 17-year old’s set to appear at the Youth Court in Leamington on 27th March, accused on producing a controlled drug.
PS Stuart Barnes said: “We are delighted that we have been able to arrest this person, put him before the courts and seize over 400 planst believed to be cannabis.
“Regardless of the outcome of this case, we would urge anyone who believes there may be a house near them that is being used for growing or distributing drugs to help us reduce crime in their area.”
