Three further arrests in David Gower shooting in Bulkington

Three more men have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a 37-year-old man in a Warwickshire village.

David Gower was shot and stabbed in a large wooden outbuilding at a house in Rugby Road, Bulkington, on 26 June.

Police said a 33-year-old has been arrested in Manchester, a 37-year-old arrested in Nottingham and a 47-year-old arrested in Leicester.

Five other men, form Derby, Coventry and London, have already been charged in connection with the murder.

Garry John Thomas Rahim, 39, from Armstrong Avenue in Coventry and Colin David Potter, 44, from Hipswell Highway, Coventry are both charged with murder.

Seymour George Young, 45, from Old Street, in London, is charged with conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm.

Mark John Francke, 42, and Harold Hurst 46, of separate addresses in Seymour Road, in Derby are both charged with murder and conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.

A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said in the latest arrests, the 33-year-old was arrested in Crumpsall, Manchester on Monday evening.

The 37-year-old was arrested in the Stapleford area of Nottingham on Tuesday along with the 47-year-old who was arrested in Leicester city centre.

Three men have been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm and were due before magistrates in Nuneaton.

Five other men, from Derby, Coventry and London, had already been charged in connection with the death.
