Driver dies when car hits tree in Warwickshire

A motorist died when a car hit a tree and caught fire in Warwickshire.



West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Banbury Road, Bishop's Tachbrook, at 15:45 GMT on Saturday.

A spokesman said: "On arrival, there was nothing crews could do to save the driver who was sadly confirmed dead at the scene."

The ambulance crew attended, along with an emergency care practitioner in a rapid response vehicle and Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
