Car driver dies in accident on A3400 in Warwickshire

A man has died after the car he was driving collided with a lorry on the A3400 in Warwickshire.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the accident at Little Wolford near Shipston-on-Stour at about 11:45 BST.

The man was treated for his injuries at the scene before being airlifted to University Hospital in Coventry.

A ambulance spokesperson said despite their best efforts the man "was confirmed deceased at hospital".
