Police are hunting 7 men – some of them apparently from the Coventry area – who it’s claimed assaulted another group of men at New Street station in Birmingham.
They’ve released CCTV pictures of the gang (above) in connection with the incident at 11:15pm on Saturday 5th March.
Three men suffered cuts and bruises.
Investigating Officer PC Iftikhar Hussain said: “Officers received reports of a disturbance on the station in which one group of men is alleged to have assaulted another group.”
“We have viewed CCTV footage and identified a number of men who we’d like to speak to in connection with the incident which left three men in their 20s with cuts and bruises.”
“We believe some of the men had travelled into Birmingham from the Coventry area for a night out.”
“I would urge anyone who recognises any of the the men in these photographs, or who knows their whereabouts, to contact British Transport Police.”
Anyone with any information can call BTP on 0800 40 50 40 or Crimestoppers – anonymously – on 0800 555 111.
