CCTV pictures have been released of a man police say held up a corner shop in Coventry with a handgun last year.
The man (shown above) made off with hundreds of pounds in the raid on the One Stop on Earlsdon Street at around 8:20pm on 7th October.
Officers haven’t been able to catch him, despite having a clear image of his face.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Richard Harrison, said: “The offender had his hood pulled up tightly but his face is clearly visible in the CCTV pictures; I’m hoping someone will recognise him and contact us.”
“This man has strolled along a busy main road in Earlsdon whilst concealing a handgun in his pocket – and two young male cashiers in the shop were left badly shaken after having a weapon pointed at them.”
“We want this man apprehended sooner rather than later so I’m appealing for the public’s help to trace him.”
Anyone with information’s asked to contact DC Harrison at Willenhall Police Station on 02476 539816 or Crimestoppers – anonymously – on 0800 555 111.
