23-year old Ela Kinczyk (pictured above) had come to the town to earn cash for her husband and 5-year old son back in Poland.

She was staying with her sister and brother-in-law and the police were called back in June when she failed to come home after telling them she was going to meet a friend.

Warwickshire Police launched one of their biggest ever searches and 11 days later found Ela’s body near Windmill Hill Lane in Chesterton on June 17th.

She had suffered fatal head injuries.

25-year old Piotr Moczulski, from the south of the town, pleaded not guilty to her murder at Worcester Crown Court on Tuesday.

He’ll now stand trial at Warwick Crown Court on April 4th.
