Coventry police looking for a man who sexually assaulted a jogger last year say someone else was attacked in the same spot three months earlier.
It follows an earlier appeal to find the person behind the attack on the 37-year old woman at Coundon Wedge on Saturday 7th August.
She was pushed to the ground in the incident, with the man fleeing when two members of the public came to her aid.
A man was arrested on suspicion of attempted rape and released without charge.
However, it’s now been revealed a female dog-walker in her 50s was attacked in the same spot three months before.
Officers haven’t formally linked the two incidents, but say the description of the suspect is similar.
They’ve released an e-fit of the man they’re looking for in relation to the incident in August (shown above) -described as Eastern European, possibly mixed race, and in his early 20s with short dark hair.
He was wearing a black top and bottoms at the time of the offence.
