Elderly man threatened in robbery at Nuneaton home

An elderly man has been threatened at his Warwickshire home in a robbery late at night.

He heard a noise in the kitchen in Tuttle Hill, Nuneaton, on Tuesday and found a man wearing a balaclava.

The man, believed to be holding a bread knife, threatened the victim, who opened the back door and two other men entered.

The three, who were wearing balaclavas, are believed to have stolen cash during the incident.

They were described as being of a slim build and about 5ft 10in tall.

The victim was not injured during the incident, which happened at about 2300 GMT.
