A motorcyclist was catapulted across two lanes of a motorway slip road in a hit-and-run incident involving a taxi.The vehicles collided on a slip road leading off Longbridge Island at junction 15 of the M40 in Warwickshire.
The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and hit the concrete barrier at about 1200 GMT on Tuesday. He suffered cuts and bruises.
The taxi stopped higher up the slip road after the crash then drove off in the direction of Coventry, police said.
Anyone who saw the driver of the black Ford Mondeo taxi which was involved in the collision has been urged to contact Warwickshire Police or to call Crimestoppers anonymously.
