Masked men carrying axes attacked a couple in their home before forcing them into their cars and driving them to a farm where they were robbed.
The four men went into the home in Bulkington, Warwickshire, on Friday evening and assaulted the couple.
They stole cash and jewellery and then forced the couple into two cars, separately, and drove them to a farm in Withybrook Road.
Money was stolen from an office while the woman was threatened with a knife.
The woman had been forced into the couple's blue Jaguar and the man into a black hatchback.
Facial injuries
When the two cars arrived at the farm the husband and two masked men went into an office where £200 was taken.
The woman remained in the car. Both cars were driven off and the woman, who was still in the Jaguar, was later dropped off on Wolvey Road.
The stolen Jaguar then hit a hedge near Bramcote Golf Club and ended up obstructing the B4109 road.
The two men inside got into the black hatchback which was driven off towards Wolvey.
The couple were later treated in hospital, the husband for facial injuries and the wife for shock.
Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the couple being forced into the vehicles in Nuneaton Road or who saw the two cars parked up at about 1845 GMT near Boundary Farm.
