Nuneaton's former Currys PC World store new tenant revealed

There has been activity outside the old shop near to the Asda store



The new tenant set to move into Nuneaton's old Currys PC World has been revealed. Jollyes, the pet shop, will take over the old unit near to the Asda store off Newtown Road.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that activity has been taking place at the former Currys branch, which has stood empty since the chain closed in July 2019. But now adverts have now appeared on social media giving a glimpse into its new future.

Jollyes has branches in Coventry and also in nearby Swadlincote. But the Nuneaton store will be its first in the borough.

A post on its Facebook page, reads: "Psst! Nuneaton pet parents, your NEW Jollyes store is coming soon...!" There is no date yet for when the branch will open.

But it will be based just around the corner from Pets At Home. That which is located in what was the old Nuneaton ambulance station site.
