The incident happened on Lower Holyhead RoadArmed officers swooped on a house in Coventry during a drugs and weapons raid. They were deployed to an address in Lower Holyhead Road yesterday afternoon (April 30).
West Midlands Police said that the armed unit found a blank-firing pistol and a blank-firer which had been converted to carry live rounds. They also seized a zombie knife.
After searching the property, the team also found an undisclosed amount of class A drugs, dealer bags and a quantity of cash. A short time afterwards, a 22-year-old man was arrested.
The suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of possession of a firearm and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of a blade. Police say that he remains in custody today (May 1) while inquiries continue.
