Nuneaton Town beat neighbours Hinckley United 2-0 to move up to fifth place in the Blue Square Bet North.
Nuneaton had to wait until the second half to make the breakthrough at the Triton Showers Arena.
Lee Moore gave the home side the lead two minutes after the restart, before Eddie Nisevic made the points safe with a deserved goal.
The victory was Boro's fourth in a row in the league, all of which have been backed up by clean sheets.
Leamington beat Bamber Bridge 3-0 in the FA Trophy to reach the third qualifying round. Matt Lewis, Richard Batchelor and James Rowe netted for Brakes.
Rugby Town are out of the competition, losing 3-2 at Stocksbridge.
In the Zamaretto, Central Bedworth United lost 2-0 at AFC Hayes.
