Three fire engines responded to 999 calls in Alliance WayFlames tore through a car and van after an arson attack in Coventry street. Three fire engines responded to 999 calls in the early hours of this morning (October 11).
A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman said that the call was at 1.30am to an incident in Alliance Way in Stoke Heath. "Three fire crews attended, from Foleshill and Binley fire stations, with the first arriving within four minutes," the fire service spokesman said.
"Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used three hose reels to extinguish the fire, which destroyed a car on a driveway and also damaged a van on the road. It is believed to have been started deliberately."
Foleshill Fire Station reported attending a number of small fires across the area over night. This included bin fires.
