Social media is awash with tales of an incident in Burges. One picture shows a couple of police vehicles in attendance. Usual speculation was also posted!

Woman, 35, named and charged after man stabbed during fight in Coventry

A woman has been charged after a man was stabbed during a 'disorder' in Coventry. Police rushed to Hales Street at around 6pm on Monday (May 30).

One man suffered a stab wound. Thankfully, his injury was not life-threatening.

Hayley Haywood, 35, of Walsgrave Road, Coventry, has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of a knife. Enquiries continue to identify a number of other people involved.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “Anyone with information has been asked to contact us via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk, quoting 20/457608/22.” West Midlands Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
