Man sought over World Cup attack in Coventry

A man who seriously injured another man after a World Cup game is being sought.

Coventry Police said the victim needed prolonged hospital treatment after suffering a head injury on 12 June and only recently reported the attack.

He fell to the ground after being punched outside the China Delight take away on Bennetts Road South, Keresley, at 2345 BST.

Witnesses are being sought to the attack which followed the England and United States match.
