Police say CCTV is being retrieved as investigations continue



A mass fight involving around 20 people broke out in a Coventry street at the weekend.

Police were called after the violent scenes in Albany Road, Earlsdon, at around 1am on Sunday (June 6).

West Midlands Police say that two people were treated for injuries after the brawl which happened near to the junction with Broomfield Road.

A 23-year-old man suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital where his condition is not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

A woman, aged 25, suffered minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "CCTV footage is being retrieved from nearby premises as investigations continue and anyone with information is urged to get in contact with the police.
