Police are still appealing for witnesses to a fatal crash on the M42 near Water Orton in Warwickshire.
Jerome Tennent, 51, from Abergele, Clwyd, north Wales, was killed in the incident at about 2300 BST on 2 August.
Police said he was driving a black Toyota, which had stopped in the second lane of the five-lane motorway.
The collision also involved a silver Mercedes. A man arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been released on bail.
A police spokeswoman said witnesses said they saw a number of cars swerving round the stationary vehicle.
